Changes to the 3 and 6 Month Tournament Structure

The players have spoken and us here at Back Door Poker have listened.
After much debate and discussion with many of you across the league, we have decided to change the structure to the 3 & 6 month tournament for the positive!!
One thing we have noticed as well as have been told by you guys, (our players), that you like our payout structure in comparison to other leagues by the way we give away prizes to more people (the top 15 to be specific) when it comes to our 3 and 6 month tournaments. We plan to continue down that path and give you guys exactly what you want!!!
On the other hand, our research has also shown that the majority of everyone would prefer CASH MONEY instead of the seats we give away (Primarily focusing on the 3 month big prize which is a $240 Bounty Tournament seat with a $150 cash out value and the 6 month big prize a $1000 WSOP seat with a $600 cash out value).
So this is what we have decided to do.
Both the 3 and 6 month tournaments will now have similar payout structures buttttttt the payout at the 3 month tournament will be exponentially larger while the 6 month tournament remains similar minus the fact we will be eliminating the WSOP seat.
Here is our breakdown and what we will doing at BOTH the 3 & 6 month tournaments:
1st place – $500 cash
2nd place – $150 cash
3rd Place – $50 cash
4th – 10th will be our normal types of prizes given away in those positions (tool sets, gift cards, electronics, poker equipment, etc….)
We will also continue to give away small prizes to 11-15th place as well as 2nd chance table prizes!!
We are excited to introduce these new changes while still keeping our large number of people paid out!
It is a young season, so start working your way up the leader board and prepare for the 3 month tournament with our new structure coming up shortly in April!!
